scared out if my mind.

I really wanted to have my son naturally with no help from medicine. I am unfortunately 24 hours away from my induction. I have heard inductions can be more painful than going into labor naturally. I'm just so worried, I don't want my son to be affected by the meds or my nerves.

I thought the same thing. I didn't want my baby to be. drugged out! They explained the process to me and everythin' they do Is the exact same thing how labor starts naturally, juss with some help with medicine to get you started until you start to progress on your own.  The medicine doesn't affect baby. I'm a ftm and currently In the hospital, I started the Induction yesterday at 3:54 pm. They Inserted some gel stuff In my vag to soften the cervix and help me dialate. Have had that done 3 times now. That I know of, I was a 4 (I'm gettin checked again shortly) and my contractions have been bearable to where I haven't taken any meds yet. You can do It, habe faith and your baby will be fine!

The baby wont be affected by the medicine. There risk everywhere but its your body you should have the birthing progress you want but the pain can get alittle crazy.

I was induced with my first I also wanted it all to be natural but I had very high blood pressure so they had no choice. Idk if it hurts worse because that was the only time I had given birth but i do know it takes a long time I was in labor for about 9 hours before I could push and when I finally pushed I had to push for an hour and a half. Good luck tomorrow and congrats.
