self induce help!

I am 6cm dilated and 100% effaced but still not having contractions and my water hasn't broken yet. I Really don't want to sit here for days or weeks and going no where. How can I speed things along naturally besides walking? I have been sitting on almost a week with no change.

Uh what? They should admit you right now. Just bc you dont feel contractions does not mean you arent having them. Contractions are what DILATE you!! Go to the hospital now! Goodness, active labor is 4cm!!

Just agreeing with them, 6cm is enough to be admitted to labour and delivery. Good luck!

They usually do the epidural at 4cm...they will hydrate you and make you walk the halls in the hospital

I went Thursday and they sent me home because they said active labor is when I feel the contractions and when they are regular otherwise I could stay this way for weeks.  I don't want too. I want my son

Sorry theyre full of nonsense. Go to another hospital or be prepared to deliver by yourself. If your water breaks now baby could be there as fast as 15-30min.

Okay well first off, just because she's at a 6 doesn't mean much.
I went to the hospital with contractions,  i was 4 cm dialated. They said the ONLY way I would be admitted was if i walked for an hour and progressed.
Luckily after walking for 1 hour, i was 6 cm.
Didn't get the epidural until 8 cm dialated.
If you don't progress, there's no reason for the hospital to keep you, considering you can stay at 6 cm dialated for weeks.

You could try two tbsps of castor oil in juice.
