sex and labor
Have anyone had sex in late pregnancy and went into labor hours or a couple of days later? With my first I had intercourse, lost my plug moments after and went into labor the next day and delivered the day after, after my water broke at 38 weeks.
Lol. I can't wait until I have my baby girl. I'm so miserable but I been walking and having intercourse. I give up , she will come on her time. Just hate being miserable. My doctor told me today that I'm pretty darn big , all baby and baby is big. My son came at 38 weeks I was hoping the same thing with her especially because I'm bigger with her and my son was shy of 7lbs at 38 weeks& I had to be cut and was ripped and still was threatening c section because he was so big
My ob told me the same thing, it thins out your cervix. I've also heard that if you can orgasm it helps thin it out as well. Whatever works works, hopefully I'll go into labor this weekend if nothing else! Looks like it hunching time again tonight (; we will see if it works for me and my husband!
With my secong pregnancy I had sex at 31 weeks and it threw me into labor, I was terrified. The doctors told me that sperm softens the cervics and recommended I not do that after we got the labor under control. I had to be transferred to a bigger hospital that was more equipped to handle a preemie... When I was 36 weeks with my third pregnancy I had sex and my water broke about an hour afterwards and ended up getting a c section because my daughter was breach...
If sex induces labor than im a broom. Lol. Im exactly 39 weeks and I have sex non-stop because my bf and I are very passionate and not looking forward to the 6 weeks without it. Sometimes my tummy hurts afterwards but nope. And this is coming from someone wjo does it like 2-3 times a day xD
I tried everything they suggest and ended up being induced a week overdue. We had sex a lot those last couple of weeks and it didn't do anything. I did efface from 50% to 75% but that's it. But I don't know if it's sex that did it because I was walking, eating pineapple etc, so it could be a combo of it all
Good luck I hope to go into labor soon as well. Don't want to go over. The waiting game suck
Oh wow! Hopefully this will have helped me! But it's now 2:30am and nothing so far :( maybe it helped me dialate if anything! I guess I'll find out Monday when I go to my next dr appointment!
With my first I was not dilated at all. Contractions started and when I made it to the hospital they were going to send me home because I was only 2cm. But before I could be discharged my water broke had him 5 hours later
I haven't had any contractions yet, but sex was horrible! For both of us, he said it hurt him too....weird! Maybe I'll start contracting soon, well hopefully I will haha!
I did and I wasnt dialted are anything when I started contracting the hospital sent me back home and I had sex with my bf and like 2 hrs later I was 4cm and admitted to labor and delivery lol so yes it def works and it was very painful to have sex and contractions back to back
Yeah we have stayed sexually active throughout our whole pregnancy as well. But tonight it was very painful, but I just sucked it up and took it! Haha! Hopefully I'll go soon, my ob said she didn't think I'd make it to my due date!

How dilated were you ladies when you had sex? I just tried it, and it was painful but I was 80% effaced and 1cm dialated as of yesterday.
Lol. I really don't want to go over. I've tried everything but castor oil (which I most certainly won't) and sex. I've been contracting so much lately I'm just over being pregnant
But sperm is supposed to help soften the cervix, but the key to sex is that you actually have to climax lol

Lol it's fine. & I want spicy food :/ all because it's good lol but I usually have a friend make something for me (Mexican).. but we are no longer living close together
I had sex on a Saturday, and my little girl was born the next Monday. I also had spicy food on that Sunday. Sorry if its posted twice, my daughter hit the phone lol.
