Idk? My second baby had her cord wrapped around her neck when I delivered her? I talked to a midwife and she said its not always dangerous to have the cord around the neck as long as its not choking the baby. Also know many women who delivered breech babies. But if you feel comfortable with ur dr decision that's all that matters! :) good luck!
I had my son via c-section the day i turned 37 weeks because i was contracting every 2 min but not dialating when the dr did the c-section my son was breech and the dr struggled to get him out because his head got stuck in my rib cage when they finally got him out his cord was wrapped around his neck twice... thank god my son was healthy and the cord didnt do any harm!
Thank u all lovely ladies for making me ease and relax.
Yes my dr said not to worry abt the tangled cord but to keep an eye for baby movements. If there is any prob regarding baby movements she told i can call her any time even in midnight. I was expecting that baby will move to normal delivery position but since yesterday when dr saw the tangled cord around baby's neck i got worried otherwise i would have asked my dr to wait until my 39weeks(more 12days). But now i will have to get admitted in the hospital since Monday Evening and dr will inshallah perform c-section on tuesday morning when i turn 38weeks exactly.
God does what is better for us :)
My sister and my brother were babies with tangled cord . and she delivered them at 42 weeks and it was known they were tangled from ultra sounds so you have to trust your doctor I wouldn't worry just keep a close eye and. wait till Tuesday your infant will be fine it gets everything it needs from that cord and the placenta baby isn't using lungs like we do so there's no air blockage or anything like that only if your vaginaly delivering should to be considered. keep calm eat well and the best luck with recovery goes to you lol c sections are interesting as can be
the cord becomes more dangerous as the baby is being born as it connected to the sack so as they move down the birth canal it becomes tight. there is plenty of cord for baby to move around in belly mine was like it on my 1st as long as baby is still as active its not to tight I hope this helps a little as I freaked out when I heard on mine x
A lot of babies are born with the cord around the neck. More than you would think. I am sure your doctor thinks everything is ok, he would not leave you or the baby in harms way on purpose. Just keep track of the movement and hope that time passes quickly this week!
Maybe it's somewhat common if their not doing anemergency c section, maybe it's lightly around the neck and not as bad as it sounds and he still rolls around even if not upside down to make it happen. The best thing would be to relax all day everyday till Tuesday and not stress yourself out. You'll be seeing your baby soon :)
why would they leave your baby tangled \?\ o.o
much luck to you lady, and idk whats up with your doctor
but they should NOT leave this situation for four days or five not even one day... :l
Thats scary :( I'm sorry I can't answer your question just wanted to wish you best of luck.
Yeah i told my dr that i m ready to go for c section asap. But she scheduled for coming tuesday as i will be exact 38weeks on tuesday. Confused and tensed :(
You just took the words right out my mouth(sml143)
I'm confused as to why they are leaving baby in when cord is wrapped around the neck twice..I haven't gone through this, sorry you are :/ just try and keep a really close eye on baby's movements..good luck :)
