Have you been to see your OB yet? Usually the hospital will have you follow up with your doctor and he will give you instructions on what to do. From my personal experience, i would say you probably need to stay home and rest and no sex until the spotting stops and your doc gives you the ok. Definitely call and make an appt if you haven't yet! Good luck!

I was put on bed rest for a whole week because am a cashier and am on ma feet all day. The doctor said either rest or risk the life of your Baby. Now everything is fine am 13w3d and baby is healthy as it could be.

The hospital shoukd have told you what you need to do but my personal opinion I would stay home and rest you don't need all the stress of waitressing (I waitressed) plus with worrying about everything going on with you and baby right now just take it easy and being worried about calling in they can't do anything if you were in the hospital they should understand call your dr and get a note I'm sorry to hesr this news hope all goes well for you and your baby try not to worry its not good for either of you
