I have the same problem with my boyfriends family. They are all major liars and on pills or sell them and I hate it. They are so full of drama and always make me and my bf fight. I just straight told him they arent allowed at the hospital and he isnt allowed to tell them when im in labor. I really dont want them in my childs life

I'm not allowing any visitors while I'm in the hospital and for a week after birth just so I can bond, my husband can bond and get settled at home. It's also flu season and I don't need my newborn exposed to all those germs right away.

The nurses usually ask if you want bonding time with the baby and the babys father. They'll ask for how long and kick everyone out until then. I got about two hours after birth to bond and I let everyone else in.

Let the nurses be the bad guy...they wont let anyone in either!  Tell them ahead of time that you dont want visitors until 2 hours later, or even the next day.  No worries!
