slowing hcg levels and dropping progesterone levels

Hi.  I am currently 6weeks 5 days pregnant (3rd pregnancy - other 2 ended in miscarriages).  We have been having my hcg levels and progesterone levels monitored due to my history with miscarriages.  HCG levels were going through the roof for a while with a doubling time of 48 hours.  This last hcg test was much lower than I had anticipated due to the others.  It had a doubling time of almost 100 hours.  Also my progesterone has been slowly declining even though they have me on prometrium 100mg twice vaginally a day.  Here are my levels:
8/10 - HCG is 136 Progesterone is 32  (This is before I started prometrium.  I started the prometrium the very next day).
8/12 - HCG is 322 and Progesterone is 37
8/16 - HCG is 1695 and Progesterone is 31.25 (I asked if I should up the prometrium and they said no to just continue what I was doing).  I was fine with that because my HCG levels were doubling so nicely.
8/23 - HCG is 19,516 and Progesterone is 30.66 (Again asked about the progesterone dropping, doctor not concerned).
8/25 - We had an ultrasound and saw the heartbeat but it was too early to hear it!  Only 5 weeks 6 days at that point.
Then yesterday 8/30 HCG is 66,587 and Progesterone is 25.7
So.....my doubling time for HCG dropped way down.....I was thinking it was at least going to be 100,000 based on the research I've done that they need to at least increase by 66% every 2 days.  I'm only 6 weeks 5 days pregnant so I feel it's still early and I still should be doubling appropriately.  The doctor did not seem concerned at all and did not seem concerned with my drop in progesterone.  I guess I'm wondering what everyone's thoughts are and if I should increase the prometrium to 3x's a day even though the doctor said I didn't need to??  I really don't want to lose this one.  We aren't scheduled for any more blood work but do have an ultrasound scheduled for next week Sept.8th.  Any thoughts would be appreciated....
Thanks so much!!!!

Doctors generally don't continue to run blood levels on you once you have seen the heartbeat on ultrasound because around that time your levels stop doubling and kinda do their own thing.  About the progesterone i'm not sure but i agree with CA25 because i also have progesterone deficiency and I know its important as I have had 3 miscarriages.
