It seems like getting food stamps is so complicated for those in need..I applied and was grilled and idk if I even will receive them yet..ug. I hate that I can't work right now

I think its meesed up and unfair. I work in a store so i see ppl who is getting it and probably shouldnt be all day. I applied and got only 65. Wic is limited but its good to have and they dnt take you through all that trouble or ask for much.

And u know what's crazy they give the the people that don't need it I've met a couple of women who get like 800 in food stamps and there husbands work in the oil field making lots of money they jusy lie and say there single and when I meantion to them how thats wrong and there taking away from people that really need it they get all offended ugh!

Omg here in Augusta ga they keep denying me they say I make too much but I'm leaving work to finish school so hopefully I get approved. It's like ppl who cheat the system get it but those who honestly work and earn a living get blown off!! I hope Illinois takes better care of me.

I work for wic woman infant and children government program its wonderful it helps alot for food and formula and breast feeding assistance as on any problems breast feeding and so on:) look into it they dont give you a hard time such as food stamps as you mention

I spent the past week on the phone trying to get my benefits, they wanted my landlord to sign saying where I live and how much rent I pay, my boss to send in unemployment verification, copies of my utility bills, I mean the list went onnnnn. Im applying for food stamps and temporary cash assistance though because I haven't worked in months! The process is so ridiculous, like I had to pay 20 $ at ups to fax in all the paper work! It shouldn't cost me money to get help!

They sent me through all that and I only got $30 I spend more on baby food they give to those who dont need it.
