Awww I just can't wait till my lil girl gets here! Ugh Feb is too far away! but yes I agree with the swaddling... my friends baby would go right to sleep as soon as I put her straight jacket on haha! That's what I called it.... but omg she loved that so much

Swaddling usually works, look up the Moro reflex. When babies are inside you they are all compact in a tiny space. When just laying in a crib or bassinet they tend to startle themselves and wake up screaming. The reflex usually disappears within the first few months of life.

He's not spoiled a lot of ppl think that's what it's called when babies do that. He's just looking for that nurturing feeling that's all. Try swaddling him you'd be surprised at how many babies enjoy that up until 4 months. If you have a swing try using that as well

Try to swaddle him. Keep him in his crib/bassinet and rub him back to sleep.  Avoid picking him up. I had the same issue and the few days of doing that and lacking sleep was well worth breaking her habit. Good luck
