Here's some advice from the MedHelp website and our I'm Expecting app on spotting and implantation bleeding. You can find this in the app by going to the Pregnancy Diary from the home screen and selecting Spotting from the Symptoms menu. Then click the menu bar in the upper left and select Symptoms Manual to see your symptoms.

I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks. I had been spotting lightly and assuming I was about to start my period. When my breasts were suddenly very sore, I took a test and it was positive. I believe it was implantation bleeding, and I also spotted here and there for a few more weeks. My daughter is now almost 2 years old. Light spotting without awful cramps is totally normal! Though admittedly my own words won't comfort me much when I'm pregnant again lol it's also normal to be very scared of something going wrong this early on. Sounds like everything is on track, though!

I've had spotting twice exactly at 4 weeks starting the day my period was due and it was fine.

It can be fine. Sex can cause spotting and there are other reasons for it as well. It could be bad too but if it remains light spotting I personally wouldn't worry. <3
