Stopped suboxone at 30 weeks. Can it be detected in the meconium (babys stool)at 39 weeks at birth?

Hello, welcome to the forum!  You are almost finished with this pregnancy!!  woot woot!!  So, does your doctor know you were on suboxone?  I'm assuming so since that is generally prescribed in a clinic setting with all the necessary legalities associated with it.  Telling your doctor is always the best policy if you haven't because then there are no surprises!  I'm not sure if that is a long enough time to assure that it won't be in the baby's meconium.  You dodged the biggest bullet in that it sounds like you stopped the subs at 30 weeks.  This can cause withdrawals and some women miscarry.  Glad this did not happen to you!  So, I guess a big question is if you talked to your doctor at all. And remember, they do test your urine during the pregnancy routinely as you pee to check for protein and things like that.  So, be up front with your doc.  :>)  If there are any additional details you'd like to give, I'd be happy to help further!

Hi there.  Checking to see how you are doing.  Hope all is well.  Are you nervous about the delivery coming up?
