I had tht a couple weeks ago. I would wake up with swollen feet. Or just being up for five minutes would swell them up. I'm guessing you have a kid already since this is your second pregnancy, i would say avoid picking him/her up && it's probably all the running around you have to do. When my feet were getting swollen i figured it was because i was constantly running around after a kid && i was up and down. Now that I'm home, my feet don't even swell anymore. Try soaking them in cold water or hot water. That relaxed me and it took off the swelling. Just keep your eyes on them, look for the preeclampsia signs && all.
I remember my last pregnancy the dr saying jis elevate them an aslong as the pain stops an the swelling goes down its okay.. but this time is different cz if ive gone to bed with swollen feet sometimes I wakeup an they are still the same :( the feeling is jus horrible an still knowing ive got another 20weeks of it arghhh!! Hopefully it doesn't get anyworse! Thanx ladies :)
My feet were swelling up as well & I'm only 15 weeks, they swell up if I'm sitting or standing for too long & look like big fat muffins :/
I kno ur pain im 29 weeks and my ankles r the size of my calfs by the end of the day. I just elevate them when I get home from work. Im going to try wearing some tubigrips on my legs and feet monday when I go bak to work hopefully it will help
