tampons?!??!

How long did you guys wait to use tampons again?
I had my PP check up Thursday and completely forgot to ask.
I started my cycle again the previous day to that and I'm still wearing pads but I feel like the flow has gotten heavier today,

Running very low on pads and no way to get more till later,
I do have access to tampons though

Ok thanks, ill just wait another week of two, maybe three to be extra safe. My Dr appointment wasnt at 6 weeks for some reason but at 4 1/2 5 weeks.

Its not about tears and rips on the outside but the wound left behind from where your placenta was attatched. If you use tampons to soon and it is not healed you can introduce bacteria that can cause a pretty bad infection. They say no tampons to keep the ph optimal for healing.

I don't think it has been quite 6 weeks, its been 5.

I didn't rip, get cut, or have stitches just got some abrasions, and everythy feels fine down there, but I don't want an infection :/
