I got mine at 29 weeks, I'm 30 weeks tomorrow, and my arm was just really sore
Thats the tetanus/whooping cough vaccine, right? Well it felt like any other shot I got, but it definitely wasn't as sore as my flu shot. And no I didn't get sick at all. No swelling or bruising either, and considering the benifits, I would gladly get it again for all my next babies (if I have any more)
I got mine today and im completely fine. Im 30 weeks
When I got mine my doctor said if I didnt actively move my arm I would feel super sore. So she said flap your arm like a chicken and move it in a circular motion. It helps move the meds along and not move slowly..
Yeah..it doesn't make you sick at all. It does make your arm extremely sore for a couple days..So I would take a warm wash cloth and place it where the needle was injected and it helped. It helps builds baby's immune system so they don't get extremely sick with things like the whooping cough.
Hmm well y'all made me feel better about the shot ill have to see about getting it I have 30 days till my due date
I got it after my daughter and it didn't hurt at all.
I got mine at 26 weeks. It didn't affect me at all, just made my arm sore. I'm 36 weeks now. :)
I'm now 32 weeks and 6 days.
I got it at 21 weeks and 5 days. The shot itself didn't hurt at all but my arm was a little sore after (normal) but I didn't get sick or anything. I strongly recommend it.
