tearing??
I was wondering if anyone knows how to aviod tearing down there??
My doc massaged and stretched me during the pushing stage but i couldn't stretch enough. I got an episiotomy to prevent horrific tearing. Worked. I still needed stitches but doc said i would have tore thru my butt hole if he didn't do the cut himself.
I did the massaging at the end of my pregnancy but it didn't help. For me anyways.

This is going to sound really weird. XD But they recommend you or your partner massaging down there a few weeks before birth to reduce the risk of tearing.
