telling friends

Okay, so I finally told my only guy friend(I have one girl friend and one guy friend) that I was pregnant. Since he is out of town until the end of the month I had to do it over text. We have had a "weird" relationship since day one. I guess you could say it started with a crush. Anyways, he has been there through everything. Me and my daughters dad had a falling out last summer and we didn't talk for about 6-8 weeks. During that time I had surgery and I could barely move. He came to visit me in the hospital, and even helped with my daughter when my dad and his girlfriend had to bring her back because of work. She stayed with them for 3 days after I had the surgery. Yes there was a point in our friendship when we were doing stuff together, but now we are JUST friends. Anyways, I have a feeling our friendship is going to change. I don't want to lose him as a friend. Also, my daughters and this babys dad (same guy) knows that we did do things, so he hates my friend. I didn't cheat though, it was when he had stopped talking to me. Any advice?

I would go for coffee with him and talk things out. Just tell him your worried you'll lose him as a friend and that you really don't want that. The only thing you can do is lay the cards on the table and leave them where they be.

talk to him about it, maybe he feels the same but can't bring up the subject, maybe you are right for eachother... or leave the child with your mom or something, and go out with him, drinking, see if he starts that conversation, or you can start it, and if it goes not the way you want, you can just blame it on the alcohol and you can still be friends..
