took Pliva Metronidazole (BV Antibiotic) jus now found out pregnant HELP!!
i was taking pliva metronidazole for 7 days 2 pills a day... its an antibiotic to cure Bacterial Vaginosis. I just came home and took a pregnancy test and its positive. My question is Can this antibiotic be harmful if taken when pregnant? ive had 4 previous Miscarriages.
Its best to get the infection taken care of. Don't worry to much and make an appointment with your doctor.
No my ob/gyn put me on the pill at five months and I'm 25weeks now there safe and my baby is fine
nope! its for a bacterial infection am i corrrect? its either a gel or a pill? if so perfectly safe! you prolly needed it because ur pregnant lol. i just took it a couple weeks ago and took it during my first pregnancy....im 18wks tmrw...youll be fine :) but also call your doc and just tell them anyway.
Im not quite sure about the answer to this so i would just call your OB. Just wanted to bump you up. Good luck
