water breaking while peeing

Question

What if your water breaks and your peeing???
How will you notice if it broke? Anybody??? Its a weird question but I'm just curious.

I was so embarassed  - prob cause the midwife put the incontinence pads on the floor and got me to stand on them, feet apart with the bedsheet round my waist, while it kept pouring....she had to go change her scrubs and got a nursing assistant to help her wash and change the bed while I just stood there saying to BD "this is disgusting, I feel like I'm peeing myself" lol x

I used to think wat if they break and i just thnk iv pee'd maself. And everyone wld say u will jst know. And believe me u will defo no. As people have said it just keeps comin. Its a horrible feelin. Th amount i lost i thought ther was never room left in ther for a baby lol.

When my waters broke i felt a pop n a gush, it felt horrible, id just got into bed... ive never jumped out of bed so fast, all i could think was omg my mattress because the dog ripped the protector lol

I never knew mine went on my 1st as it didnt go all at once they was leaking so no you dont always know!

Again, you will know, its such a horrid feeling - you will know that the water is coming from you, its like you're peeing yourself with a neverending pee that you can't stop, then when you think its done - if baby moves, more comes, if you lie down and stand up again, more comes. I was mortified when mine went (Midwife broke them at 41+6 to induce labour) and there was so much 0 I had been on the bed and it went everywhere, midwife had to change her scrubs and everything lol x

Yep ^^ my water broke with #1 at the hospital while peeing and when I stood up it just kept coming and coming up until I delivered it never stopped

Ya u can definitely tell the difference lol with both of my other boys my water broke at home n I knew instantly it wasn't pee because u can feel it from that "hole" n not your pee hole if that makes sense lol

it sound silly but you will KNOW the difference between pee and your waters, I always wondered the same til mine went.   pee you can stop and start by working yoiur muscles, your waters just keep on coming.   i lost about 3 litres of fluid my midwife said in one big flush and then it would keep trickling out after that.   it wasn't pleasant lol.   x

You'd be able to tell difference because it normally goes in a rush. This happened to me at 36 weeks, could also tell by colour difference and bits of blood in it xx
