i don't know why it happens/doesn't happen, sorry. i've had 3 boys and they had to break my waters during labour each time.
reall have no Idea what's that means.
sorry for not helping..
I have 4 boy 3 sacks had to be broken by the doc except my last child it broke on its own and 3 of my boys were 8"6 and the last one was 8'9 my question is with my last child I had 3 sacks of water according to my doc does anyone know what that means?
my friend had her daughter in the sac and all, the dr held the baby and sac up and poked it with his finger!!! crazy huh........her next baby was born in the car (talk about crazy)
my baby boy was 7.7 pounds maybe that's y mine had to be broken by the doc. and mybe the sacks r different, maybe otheres are thicker than the others my opinion though.....since people differ.
yho after it was broken there was this thing that wanted me to push and my doc told me to waite half an hr and I couldint the thing wanted me to push and I told my doc that I can't waite that long I'm pushing now he checked me and told me that the cervix is coming out coz I'm only dialated to 8...He said I must breath in and out it only 2 dialations left....I really couldn't I pushed and he pushed back the cervix while I was phushing the baby out......and I gave birth to a handsome son ......ohh I love him to death, that one is my life........I'd kill for him.
before I gave birth I use tothink that I wouldn't be able to hold him and I'd be scared to carry him but once they gave him to me the first word I said was " oh my baby" and I fell in love with him the exact moment. and he was crying....I was so excited I couldn't be bothered by the crying though I normally go mad I the baby crys non stop......and what made me happy more is that it was a boy and I have a thing with baby boys even when I was young I use to say I want my fist child to be a boy and God helped me.
sorry for all of this it's just dat I get excited whn I talk of him.
Wow big baby!! So you agree with me? Maybe it's a big baby thing to tho. Cause my two were the biggest ones so far that broke on its own.
the one mine broke on was the fastest 4 hours i was dialated to 8 when i got to the hospital and he was 11 pounds 3 oz so i think it
Well my water broke when I was pregnant with my first. I had just unpacked my hospital bag so I could repack it and it felt like I had to go to the bathroom. When I got up my water broke. It was happy, scared and it felt gross all at the same time. I only had maybe about 4 contractions in the 8hrs i had to wait on my c-section.
I actually prefer not to have mine broken by my doc. I think out of the ones I've had that broke on their own.....my labor was much more comfortable. I think the water acts as a cushion during contractions and doesn't hurt as much. My opinion tho. The labors that my water broke on their own were actually shorter too. I was much more calm with less discomfort if that makes sense.
i have had 6 children and only one broke by its self now im pragnante with twins with 2 sacs i wonder how that works hope im not shopping when that happens lol
I had to have mine broken with my son when I was 9cm. But he created a plug and barely any of the fluid came out. It all gushed out when he came out. My mom had 4 kids and her water never broke, the doc always did it during labor. It does help to speed things up though once your water has broken. Everyone is different. I am pregnant with number 2 and I wonder what will happen this time around.
My water broke with both of my boys before I ever got to the hospital and the doc said it was just because the baby just pushed its weight limits and pop so there is still hope ! PS having your water break is like the ickiest thing I have ever had happen so don't worry :)
Actually, only something like 15% of women's water breaks before delivery, most of the time the water breaks either during delivery or the doctor artificially breaks your water. There's nothing wrong with that and when the doctor does it, it does help to increase your contractions.
It is very very rare for a baby to be born in the sac, your water needs to break to create some space between the placenta and the uterus and release the baby before the uterus releases the placenta.
If you are a member of you tube, you can look up births of babies born in the sac. I saw one video and the mid wife in it said it was supposed to mean good luck. Drs will break your water to speed up your labor, and get it going stronger. I'm not sure if you'll have to have it broken again, but it's not an uncommon procedure.
