ways to start labor?

My boyfriend works out of town 6 hours away.. He will be home this Friday night and the next day I will be 39 weeks. I would really love for our baby to come this weekend because he has a three day weekend and I'm just so afraid I'll go into labor when he's states away. Is there anything I can start doing this week to speed up the process? Home remedies or a membrane sweep (just heard of this) possibly at my Dr appointment this Friday? Any personal experiences? I would love to hear your stories! Thanks

That would be awesome. Ill be 39 weeks Saturday but I don't think they usually like to induce you unless you're more around 40-41 weeks. Idk what to do. I know neither of us want him to miss it but I would like her to come on her own without induction if possible. I know 6 hours isn't too far compared to how long most labors take but everyone is different and I would be devastated if he wasn't there when shes born. Maybe I'll talk to him tonight and call my Dr tomorrow and get her thoughts. Thank you!

Intercourse, nipple stimulation via a pump is good, walking, doing squats, and some say pineapple.
