ok so how soon does implantation bleeding happen my period is not due till the 23rd but i am spotting now its just pink on the toilot paper could this be implantation bleeding and yes ive been having unprotected sex with my husband

are you serious? That is crazyness. Well, he should have told you to come back in 2 weeks then they would go from there with the blood test. That is what my doctors office told me a couple of days ago when i made my appt. I asked them what their procedure was and that is what they told me that they did. Plus you haven't missed a period yet? your not due till the 23rd. So how can they tell this soon with just a urine test. I would go to another doc myslef.

i bet eh this is weird for me also i hate not knowing whats going on ! i went to the doctors and he did a urine pregnancy test which was stupid cuz even if i were to be pregnant a urine test would not detect it yet :S i told him to do a blood pregnancy test but he said "if the urine pregnancy test said ur not pregnant then ur not pregnant"

Okay so now I am 10 late and this afternoon I am having the same thing that I had on the 17th of last month. It is only there when I wipe after using the bathroom and it is very very light pink. Not even close to a period. This is wierd.

I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago. About 3 weeks pregnant, so today I am about 5 weeks. I had some cramping and light bleeding last nightt (brownish colored). My nurse says to wait to see what my blood test says as far as HCG levels. She said it could be implantation. It would not have been a mis-carriage as there would have been more blood. I am worried though. My frist HCG test was 27 tehn 39 and now 91 was on Wed. It doubled the third time, but is still low. I don't think it's looking too good.

I am wondering the same thing...I had the same exact thing on november 17th..my period was due on the 1st of dec and still nothing yet..Girl , we might be preggers!!! I have taken 4 test and still nothing, but it is still too early i believe for the hormone to show up. and you might be in the same boat in a couple of weeks like i am. I am so anxious and it is driving me crazy. we have been trying since august and my period is like clock work every month. So we will see. I have a dr appt on friday but it too is a urine test so we will see..I know just what it is like to be so hopeful and anxious. I am here for ya.

I think most of the ladies posted most of the causes for spotting..... implantation which is a week before your actual period.........or like babyadam listed........other than that you need to really seek professional assistance with your doctor......all woman dont go through the exact same symptoms for everything.....good luck and hope everything work out for the best!!!!!! :-)

Most likely too early for implantation.  There are many different reasons to spot mid-cycle.  You should probably call your OBGYN to find out why you are having this spotting.

ok but i still dont get it cuz its the 9th  my period isnt due till the 23rd sooo could this be implantation and it was only the 1 time i went to the bathroom and only on the tissue

I had implantation bleeding about 20 days into my cycle which is about 26 days. I got my positive HPT on day 24 of my cycle.

Here is something I found online:

Implantation bleeding normally occurs a week to a few days before your period would normally start. Spotting that occurs around a week after ovulation is likely implantation bleeding; whereas, spotting that occurs very close to the time that your period would normally start may not be. A normal menstrual cycle generally starts off light and then gets heavier. Spotting can sometimes be the sign of an early period. If this is the case, the spotting will pick up to heavier bleeding. If you have spotting right around the time your period would normally start, it can be more confusing. You will need to take the wait and see approach or take a pregnancy test to determine pregnancy.

it could be.....i never had implantation bleeding, or cramps with either pregnancy..so I'm not sure what it looks like, but from what I've read from posts on here, it sounds like it could be it!
