what sizes to buy?

Hey ladies so far I've only bought one outfit its 3-6 months I'm scared to buy newborn bcuz what if he is chunky than I wont need them... so how much newborn size stuff should i get or do i jus buy things a lil big? wat did u start off buying & wat sizes?

i have like 2 newborn outfits nd thats it... everything else i have so far is 0-3,3-6,nd 6-9.... idk wat sizes ill get at my baby shower but thats from wat ive bought... if my daughter is small wen shes born nd only fits newborn sizes well then ill be shoppin haha

Both my kids were seven pounds or just shy of. And my son is five weeks an still in nb. My dd outgrew nb at 7w.

My sons estimated weight at birth is between 7.5- 8.5lb.. I only bought 2 new born. . And 4 sleep suit n outfit for 0-3 mnths.. I bought one coat n jumper 0-3mnths n 7 vests 0-3mnths..  i m not so keen on buying clothes as my family will give clothes..  i just bought these for first few months...

My daughter fit NB till she was 2&1/2 months. I had to go buy more NB stuff bc the smallest I had was 0-3. Everyone told me don't buy NB n I had to. Its ashame bc a lot of 0-3 stuff I had I gave away bc it was summer clothes (she was born june26) n by the time it fit her it wasn't warm enough. She's 6 months now n wears alotta 3-6 still. I buy 6-9 now but her 3-6 still fit. My babies petite lol with a Pooh belly. So definitely buy atleast SOME NB stuff

We bought things in all sizes!!!! Even got new born hand me downs ta save alil money.

when I was born I wore premies so I've bought a couple of each size. nb nd 0-3. I think I have one premie outfit just in case

Go for mostly 0-3, I always bought 1 or 2 nb sizes. That way if you do pictures in the hospital you are guaranteed to have an outfit that fits the baby perfectly.

I'd buy a few newborns, and 0-3. Your baby will definitely fit 0-3, my daughter was born last week 8lbs 12ozs and she didn't fit newborns, so she went right to 0-3 and fits them comfortably. Most newborns swim in 0-3 though, so definitely get that size.

I jus want to start buyin now im 21 wks but I guess I'll. Start with his sleepers, bottles, pacis & bibs first

Well when your 30 weeks ask your dr what size he thinks the baby will? With my son the dr was right he was about 7 pounds my son was just a few oz. Away from 7 pounds so. Just ask.

I had tons of nb clothes that was a big mistake he was only in them for 3weeks tops i ended up having to go shopping again to get lots of 0-3 month clothing. Doc was saying he was only pose to b 5lbs but he came out 8lbs. so i wouldn't go crazy with nb sizes

I don't buy NB stuff I would just buy 0-3 to start with.

You can always buy a few newborn things and keep the tag on and return if baby is too big.  You deff need to get some 0-3 months though.
