I am currently 31 weeks pregnant with my first, a babygirl! I am unsure of what to pack in her diaper bag and when to have it ready? She is due October 1st and at that point usually the weather is in the process of a change. we live in WV. any and all help is appreciated! Thank you!

Ive been having trouble with preterm labor since i was 26 weeks. My boyfriend has been frustrated with me because I want to have things packed soon "just in case" he has two other children and just assumes that because i am bigger than his ex that i will go to full term and blah blah blah! I am just trying to have things organized because i cant rely on him to do it. Thanks for all of your help! I am probably going to start packing my daughters bag tomorrow with a few little things :)

No you don't need diapers or wipes, they gave me so many that I used it even at home. Take pair or socks for you too, you will need them. Also take a rob, something that you won't mind if it gets dirty. I had my bag ready to go a month before my due date, it was good bc I went to labor 3 weeks early and I was all ready! Keep Maxi pads at home, when my water broke I had to go hospital I needed them.

No other then clothes for pics...hospital provides everything else. I just packed a week ago and tomorrow I'll be 40 weeks. If I were you just have everything ready now so you're not worrying last minute!

This is what I packed... For myself: Travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, razor, tooth brush, tooth paste, brush, make-up, straightner, two shorts, two tanks, black underwear, slippers, two onesies. For baby: two very cute pajamas for baby (cute for pics), mittens. For husband: two lounge shorts, two tshirts, boxers and socks. Entertainment: cell, chargers, video camera. Snacks: granolas and gatorade (this is more for my husband).

A change of clothes for pictures if you get them, the hospital will give you wipes and diapers to last until you get home usually. You should bring clothes for you and entertainment. I suggest bringing a pair of slip on shoes just incase you swell after the birth.
