I know it's not in the poll but i think Karissa Rylee would be the prettiest.  :)

I like Karissa and Mckenzie both, though I chose Karissa because that name has something that both you and your DH like. I do really like the idea of letting your son draw out of a hat. Or maybe you can ask him which name he likes best. I picked out my little bro's name when I was a kid.

I'm with Joy.  I voted for the same name for the same reasons. :)

I voted for Karissa because it is the first name you love with the middle name he wants. Seems like the perfect compromise!

I'm gonna be the odd one out, I guess, and vote for Tessa. I think it's such a classy, feminine name. :-) And it's not very common, so if that were her name, she'd probably always be the only Tessa in her school, or as she grows up, in her work. It's a very original name, I think.
I like Karissa as well. That's my second favorite. I really like names that will be more on the uncommon side, but well-known, during the child's lifetime, rather than trend names or "unique" names (or in my opinion, weird names). I like Karissa a lot too, but it's more common than Tessa.
I'm not a huge fan of McKenzie or Rylee, mainly because both the names are so common. Not that I don't like the names, it's just that I hear them everywhere. There's a baby girl at my son's daycare named McKenzie, and my sister has a classmate friend named Riley, and the list goes on.
For me, I hear those names and they just don't stand out for me. But you come across a name like Tessa or Karissa, and I remember, that's the person with a memorable name, since you're not meeting every other person with that name, or trying to single out other other people by calling them McKenzie A., McKenzie B. and McKenzie M. because that's the only way to verbally tell them apart.
