Pregnant?

Hello,

My boyfriend and I had sex (he pulled out) on April 26th.  My period started on April 20th and ended on the 25th.  My cycles are usually around 32-34 days long.  About a week ago (May 4th) my breasts started to feel sore and tender.  This usually happens before my period, but not this early.  Could I be pregnant?

Please respond!

Hi, well, in my opinion (and that's all it is because I am not a professional), I don't think that you are pregnant.  Since you had sex the day after you ended your period, it is very unlikely that you would get pregnant that soon because your body needs to have time to ovulate.  You don't ovulate the day after your period.  The average time it takes your body to ovulate after your period is about 14 days after the end of your period.  Also, yes it is possible to get pregnant using the pull out method because the pre-ejaculate that is released during the act of sex before the man ejaculates does in fact contain sperm, although a very small amount.  However, the two facts together, that he pulled out, and it was the day after your period, would make it very hard to get pregnant.  However, miracles do happen, lol.  You said that your cycles are normally 32-34 days long, which means your cycles are a little bit out of whack (not that much though) so the reason why your breasts are sore could be because you have a slight hormone imbalance.  When you have a hormone imbalance, it can affect you in various different ways, such as giving you these types of symptoms as different times, or times that are unsuspected.  Wait and see if you start your period when you are normally supposed to, and if you don't then take a test, by the time it is supposed to start, a test should be pretty accurate.  Good luck to you and I hope I have been able to help you a little bit.

you generally ovulate 14 days after the first day of your period but since your cycles are a little longer than 28 days you may ovulate later so no you are more than likely not pregnant unless you had unprotected sex around may 2nd or later.
