working at 37 weeks

So I'm 37 weeks today and still working.
I do housekeeping and it's starting to get harder for me to move around as easy as i used to.
Should i go ahead and stop working or keep it up for a few more weeks?
I heard working up until delivery is great for labor but im not sure?

I am also a house cleaner and worked all the way up into this week I'm 38 weeks and was going to finish out this week but I keep having contractions and sometimes am far from the hospital so I went ahead and stopped. I'm hoping the same for my labor which should be any day now so I'll let you know how it goes.

I do housekeeping too in a hospital. Im bow 30+4 weeks and I have decided to work up until I have my son. When I was pregnant with my first son I did housekeeping at a hotel and took off two weeks before I had him. Honey its your body and your choice. If you are ready to go out then take your leave now. No need to strain yourself when you could be relaxing.

That's a personal choice.  It's really up to you to be honest.  I tried to work up until labor as well.  I work in a hospital doing registration and you go from room to room every time a new patient comes in to the ER or Labor and Delivery rooms... It got too hard to walk around without getting winded or my legs swelling up... So I went out 4 weeks prior to my due date...

My mom on the other hand worked right up until the day before she delivered me.  She left work on a Friday, went into labor Saturday and had me on Sunday..

So it's up to you really.. You can still stay active right up until you deliver, but you don't have to "kill" yourself struggling to keep up at work..

You're not too far from your 40 week mark... So it wouldn't hurt to rest until labor starts too....

Good luck...
