HGH or not

Wondering if HGH is necessary for my daughter. She was born at 28 at weeks gestational age weighing 2lb 1oz measuring 13.5 inches. She is now 34 weeks old weighing 22lb measuring 33inches. She is growing at a consistant pattern but not showing any signs of catching up.Her HGH level was 55, we are having it rechecked . She is a healthy girl with a little breathing trouble sometimes. We are told that HGH is a possibility but we can not imagine giving her a shot everyday for ten to twelve years. Has anyone had this same trouble? We wonder just how abnormal it is for her to not be catching up by two some parents we have talked told us there kid didn't catch up untill 5. We have not got a good answer from the doctor about how tall/short she could be we are told there are no hard numbers. Does anyone know anything about this, have any suggestions been through it? We are trying to get as much info as possible before we make a decision she has another appiontment in 6 months.

im sorry but im a little confused she is 34 weeks now and she is how much?? maybe u meant she is 3? im not sure.

i dont think she needs HGH all preemies are different as far as growth. And up till yesterday i brought my ex 24 weeks to his ped. and the ped. said the same thing to me, some preemie dont cath-up till the age of 5, i used to always compare my son to other preemies and even full terms babys but theres no comparing, i just learned to just enjoy my son each day and to help him in every possible way, today hes 14 months and hes 32 inch and 24.5 lbs, minding you he was born 1 lbs 7 oz and 12 1/2 inch tall so its been a long road and its amazing what a year can do.

Good luck with your little one.
