Increase in PSA After Prostate Removal

I am a 57 year old. In October 2012 I had my Prostate robotically removed. November 2012 PSA was undetectable. My Gleason score was 7 prior to surgery and 8 post surgery. There was cancer detected near edge of prostate. August 2013 I get a PSA test and it is .13. I am currently undergoing radiation treatment for 37 sessions. Is it possible to have been to aggressive of a decision? Should I have waited or maybe had another PSA test?

I have no doubt that the prostate removal was the absolute right thing to do. What I am asking is if the current PSA reading of .13 justifies jumping straight into radiation treatment.

Hi, you made the right decision. with a gleason score of 7 it was best to have it removed.
