adenocarcinoma of prostate

MY father, age 67, no family history of Ca. had symptoms pain in urination,he  is diabetic since 2 to 3 years but now sugar levels are normal he is taking half of glyciphage currently.  He had TURP 2 years back, since then he is having symptoms like pain and burning in urination,   URINE ROUTINE  shows 4 TO 5/ hpf RBCs, epithelial cells +. Dr. says after surgery some resedue was left, hence another dr.'s advice was taken, he prescribed HONVAN drug, which is now continued. After surgery his PSA was below 5, and now after 2 years it is10. pt. is pure vegetarian, and was always on good diet and follows a regular exercise. A bone scan was performed which is normal. Kindly suggest, what next?,,will some herbal therapy work?

yes after TURP, sample was sent for investigation, dr.didn't mention any abnormality, nor had he mentioned it in his file, now he is having pain while urination, and he is on drug HONVAN , may be for his PSA levels, dr. says he will have to take it till the symptoms subside, his hemoglobin which was 9.6 earlier is now 12.1 after receiving haematinics. pl.guide. thanks for your reply.,
