cramps in bladder area after year and half

Operation was 16 months ago and recently I've been experiencing severe cramps in bladder area. So bad it hurts to sit, walk lie down etc. Doctor said it could be a kidney stone but X-ray doesn't show any. Asked about cancer since I get heartburn almost every day, but PSA comes up as 0.01 so I'm told I have no cancer. Doctor then states it's due to reconstruction, but why after 16 months would this now occur? I stopped eating nuts and any roughage so I'm at a loss as to the cause and tired of the constant intense pain.

What kind of operation did you have? What did they reconstruct?
