Do you know the measurement of the nodule? If 1cm or more, your healthcare provider will likely order a FNA biopsy. If smaller than 1cm, they will likely follow up with an ultrasound to keep an eye on it. As the thyroid is part of the endocrine system, it could be the culprit of weight gain.
