Hi Acid reflux can be a big part of ur breathing issues, but u should see a Dr and make sure u do not have sleep apnea in addition to reflux.
Next elevate the head of ur bed 4 to 6 inches so u r on an incline this will help keep the acids out of ur throat and mouth where the acids can cause damage.
Also avoid foods that will trigger the acids...spicy,greasy, acidic, as well as bevs that are carbonated, caffeine,alcohol....smoking, stress....
Do not lay down for 3 to 4 hrs after eating....for more info see the health pages in the GERD forum-

But most important see a Dr...a GI Dr so u can get answers....with GERD u can have a hiatal hernia that can also affect breathing and it can also put pressure on the vagus nerve which can account for some of the other issues u mentioned.
Please keep us posted on how u r doing : )
