Stevens Johnson Syndrome symptoms - yeast infection

I have been out of the hospital for almost 2 weeks now after suffering Stevens Johnson syndrome from lamictal, a medication I was taking to treat Bipolar 2. I had a horrible rash all over my body, cold sores in my mouth and burnt lips. My liver enzymes were 1000. My eyes burned, nose burned and I got a yeast infection as a result. I feel much better as the rash is pretty much gone and my skin is peeling a little. However, my yeast infection seems to be back. Is this normal for my yeast infection to come back so shortly after treating it in the hospital? Is it possible that I am relapsing. The lamictal should pretty much be out of my system by now but maybe it's still a little active in my body. What should I do? Thanks,

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? Skin complications of Steven Johnsons Syndrome usually include sepsis and secondary bacterial infection such as cellulitis.  The yeast infection may be from the antibiotic medications prescribed or underdosage or resistance was present . While yeast infection may be managed with prescription medications also, recurrence is possible. However,  with your medical history, further evaluation is important. It is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper management. Drinking plenty of fluids may also help. Take care and do keep us posted.

My sister Rosemary has what sounds like the same thing & she is still struggling to survive. I have written to the FDA complaining about this drug Lamictal, and complained to the State about the doctor who prescribed it. Per the PDR it should be started at a low dose to rule out auto-immune response initially, but I feel the doctor may have been too aggressive in his prescribing this drug, and failed to monitor and inform the patient of possible adverse reactions. What are her chances to survive?
