Crazy woman and harrasment

Well I have a bf of 4 years. I have a guy best friend who has been my friend for 7 years i once dated this person but I was only 13 so not really considered as dating. He was for a period of time not a part of my life because his gf did not want him to talk to guirls. This summer he reentered my life and our friendship blossomed once again. Then he began flirting with me. i thought it was harmless and that he was kidding so I just told him to stop and he knew about my bf the whole time. Then it kept going on but I fooled myself into thinking we were just friends. During the summer I went through hardships with my bf and was thinking of leaving him but not to be with this friend. the relationship with my boyfriend has gotten better and my best friend now has a gf but their relationship has been rocky I am not sure why cuz I can not be sure hes telling me the truth about y its so rocky. Anyways lately she's been sending me messages saying im flirting with him which is in fact not true. I did a little this summer but nothing major but have not in 2 months. She has started messaging me telling me we were flirting with eachother and w.e but I was not he was and Id tell him to stop. She keeps messaging me Ive told her that there nothing I dont talk to him anymore and I dont want him and how i encouraged him to date her. She keeps on sending me msgs saying shes pregnant and that she left him or w.e yet she txted me on his phone to tell me that..HELP ME? I dont wanna talk to her because I dont want to make things worst but im really pissed off and I just want her to leave me alone Ive cut all ties with him but shes still bugging me she is getting her sister to send my bf and i messages I was thinking of a solution..My bf wants to send her a message back stating that if she does not leave me alone that we have all the convo's printed out and that he will go to the police...she hasn't been threatening but i keep blocking her but she still find a way to send me messages all the time I am ignoring her...

Do what your bf says and go to the police. this is harassment, i would just respond once more telling her that you do not want to talk to her or your former best friend and if she will not stop contacting you, you will go to the police and report it. Then if she keeps harassing you, go to the police

I don't know about the police where you are, but I doubt the police here would do anything.  Sending annoying texts, however bothersome to you, isn't enough for the police to care that much about.  If she was explicitly threatening you, that might be a different matter.

This girl has clearly got jealousy and insecurity issues.  That's a shame, because it's costing both you and this guy your friendship, and there shouldn't be any need for that if you are both keeping it strictly friends, hands-off.  But, unfortunately, some girls (and a few guys too!) can be like that!

Given that you and your friend have decided to stop spending any time together, there's not a lot else you can do.  Just ignore and delete the texts.  Eventually she'll realise that you're no threat to her relationship and you're not even seeing him any more, and she'll stop bugging you.  Either that, or he'll realise she's a jealous control freak and he doesn't want that and he'll dump her!

Its obvious that shes jealous of you. If she keeps harassing you and sending you text messages, why don't you change your number?

Change your number.  sammy here it is considered harassment.  So she can go to the police and file a report.  The simpler way to handle the situation is just to change your number.

Ignore the rants of this crazy lady... and, change your number as well. But, if the harassment persists, contact your local law enforcement. And, if you do change your number, don't give it to that guy friend... because she obviously got your current number through him.
