Does it bother you if your partner has opposite sex friends?

Question is . . . does it bother you if your partner has friends of the opposite sex and why?

I could lock my husband up with the sexiest women in the world and he would never disrespect me or himself.  The last thing he would ever do is hurt me.  He doesnt feel threatened by me being friends with guys either.

I'm a big no on this subject too.  

I've got one son who is in touch with his feelings and shares with me and others.  And another that I'm realizing bottles it up.  Sigh. I'm on project "help him be more open emotionally" and hope his future wife appreciates what a pain in the butt it seems to be.  He doesn't like to share when he feels really humbled,  humiliated or like he did something wrong.  He had a few moments of these this weekend and I tried to talk to him about it and really, I had a better conversation with your dog about not pooping in the house.  Just saying . . .

Not at all. On the other hand, he's not the slightest bit furtive or unforthcoming, such that I might think he was hiding something. He treats all women like his sisters.

I broke up with a guy long ago because I was insecure a lot in the relationship, and finally realized it was due to his habit of never letting me know what he thought. He was just a classic withholder, probably to play power games in the relationship. I didn't like being on edge all the time. I remember it being a huge relief to be done with him.

My husband is nothing like that, one reason I married him. I like who I am with him, and feel the world would fall apart before he let me down. A guy who is like that and nice to women, no problem.
