My girlfriend is pregnant

Hi, this year I am turning  into 29 years old and I am dating a women, 47 years old and she is still having her period regularly. We are dating nearly 2 years plus.We are sexually active relationships.Last week, she find out that she is pregnant. We already follow up with doctors and everything is in normal. The problem is I m really happy to have a baby with her but she really worry about her age of pregnancy. I m planning to propose her too. Any advice how to less her worries?

Well, she is definitely on the end of when women have babies and actually past.  Natural pregnancy at 47 years old and one that goes to term is rare.  Things to worry about even if the pregnancy continues is birth defects that as the pregnancy progresses they will test for.  Eggs become of less quality as a woman ages.  Those are real concerns.  However, she's pregnant and you two sound happy about it.  So, enjoy life and take what comes.  Advanced maternal age does mean that she will be in a high risk category and pregnancy may be a bit more difficult on her physically.  If she has had other children, she will be able to compare.  I had my kids younger than her but what was considered older.  I made it through just fine.  :>)  So, congrats.  How far along is she?
