Ya, I agree with anniebrooke. This is trying to pull you into unnecessary drama. He's your ex. You don't need to prove anything. Who would you need to prove it to, anyway? Just move on and don't play their game. Rise above. :>) hugs
I assume you did not do what you are being accused of?
- If you need to prove you are telling the truth about something super important (like, to the police about an alibi), ask for a lie-detector test.
- If you are worried that the accusation will get back to someone important to you (such as, your parents or your new beau), tell them right now what is being said and that is isn't true.
- If you are merely trying to prove to some stupids in your social circle that you didn't do something someone accuses you of, rise above the whole thing and don't waste one more thought on it.
Don't mix the importance levels. If you are being accused of a crime, you take it seriously. If a fool makes up an idiotic story, you don't take it seriously or even grace it with your attention. You think "He *would* say something asinine like that." And then you forget it.
It kind of sounds like you should shake the dust of this ex off your shoes and stop getting hooked into trying to "prove" anything.
