counsling

So me nd my husband attended counsling last week . My husband believes by attending he feels like people only attend counsling when its at the end of the relationship .
But thats not the case at all.
hes bipolar i believe counsling will help him with his past as well as helping him move forward.
and i also went to counsling to fix the small issues we r having like..
him wanting more wanting me to open my horizon more on different sexual things and he doesnt like the way i am when he has episodes. Well long story short i wanted to hear peoples opinion on if u think this would have to be an on going thing going to counsling or if we would only have to go for a few months .i know it prabley depends on us . But i dont want to be having to go for years nd years .u know?

I wouldn't think that counseling should go on for years, or it would defeat the purpose. I think that you should be given tools to work with within a relationship, and then go forth and use them. Best of luck. Know that if you need to talk further to anyone here, just send a friend request.

It may be weeks or months or longer. Depends on the issues and sometimes some issues raise new ones. Is he seeing someone for his bipolar?
