Nortrel

On my last visit with my doctor (8-13-07) I was prescribed Nortrel for birth control. I went home and tossed a pill (which he said to do because it was a Monday) and took the second one. It was then that I realized that the math was off in regard to my period, so I called my pharmacist and she said if I were to take the rest of the pack it was change the week of my period. That didn't sound good so I tossed the rest of the pack.

My question is, can even one pill alter the day of my period? It's a couple days late.

I meant that my period had already come too early to start the pill. A week and a couple days had already gone by. And the only kind of sex I have is protected.

Just wondering if the one pill could have screwed up my cycle.. I bought 2 pregnancy tests and they both came out negative.

What was the first day of your last menstrual period?  I'm confused..you usually start a pack on either the first day of your period, or the Sunday following the first day of your last period.  If you started the pill on 8/13 (after your doctors visit),  how could you already be late for your period?  Your last period had to have been that week, in order to start the pills.

In any event, if you tossed the whole pack for some reason and have had unprotected sex in the last month or so, you could certainly be pregnant.
