This forum better than Myspace/Facebook: Yes/No

Hell yes it's better because it seems that everyone one in Myspace or Facebook is either a perv or someone trying to just mess with you.  There are people out in the world that feel more comfortable chatting with a stranger going through the same thing as them then a counslor or physc doc.  I have met some really nice and interesting people her just in two days then I ever have in two years with Myspace, so to everyone if your here to play games with someones head get the hell out.

to me myspace and facebook are completely different from Medhelp. am not saying any is better but with Medhelp one's more concern with asisting a serius problem and its creates a strong bond. To helping people

I don't really think it is fair to compare MH to facebook or Myspace. I am a big fan of Facebook and MH, they are two completely different sites. I dissagree that facebook is just a bunch of pervs, I have not experienced that. I use facebook to keep in touch with family and friends and share pictures.
I have never been approached by someone I don't know on FB and if I was I wouldn't accept the friend request, I keep all of my info private so people I don't know cant see my business.

Myspace is what you make it.  If you use it as a dating sight, then that is what it will be.  I only allow people to send me messages, or friends requests who know my full name, if they do not know my name then they can't even send me a message, or request to be my friend... same with my fiance's account. You can also set your profile to private on myspace which is the smartest thing to do .  I have never viewed myspace as a dating sight at all, not once have I considered it a dating sight.

i like medhelp for browsing and answering questions.  makes me feel *clearing throat* important and needed.  have myspace and yahoo groups just for the heck of it

I have a myspace and this, I like both, they both have different things that I like.. I really like this site for insight into things I may be going through, alot of great info and I like the trackers.. myspace is for fun and Ive met alot of people from my past...

I don't have a myspace account, but I have seen my friend's and brothers. I prefer this site because from my point of view, it's what I look for; mature subjects of discussion and opportunities to ask your own questions. Great people here too. Mostly everyone offers mature and respectful responses.

It is not better or worse then Myspace or Facebook. This is just different. I have many social network accounts from Geni (more of a free family tree with unlimited photos/videos), 3 different nings, and even some yahoo groups. None are better not are worse. They all have there good points and bad.
