COPD: breathing issues and sweating

My mom is in the end stage of copd, she is on 100% oxygen 24/7, she sweats pretty much all the time and her breathing has gotten worse since I attached the distilled water to the concentrator because she was having too many nosebleeds, does the distlled water tank have anything to do with her breathing and is the sweating because her heart is not getting enough oxygen?

One of the "old-time" solutions to eliminate the uncomfortabl;e nasal cannula was to make an "oxygen tent".  These have fallen out of favor, partly because of the difficulty in maintaining a level of oxygen that is only slightly above normal. "One hundred percent oxygen" is contraindicated because it can cause respiratory arrest. I am sure you actually meant she was connected to a nasal cannula that provides supplemental oxygen (but not 100 percent). The "bubblers" often cause fluid accumulation in the lungs. Sweating on the forehead is a hallmark of cardiac ischemic, but her sweating may be due to other factors.
