Can mondelsor be used long term for Asthma & Allergy problem.

I have been suffering from cough, cold and breathing problem from childhood. Now I am 28, and I have asthma attack everyday. Have high IgE levels of 1300 IU/ml. Having sinus issues as well, as I have severe headache on the right part of head. After X-ray the report said cyst/polyp in right maxillary sinus. I went to ENT with that report , he said it's not much of issue. But sometimes I have severe headache due to it.Doctor prescribed me nasal spray, inhaler, mondelsor, doxolin. I don't feel comfortable using inhaler neither do I use nasal spray , because it has drying effect and I feel discomfort if the mucus dries up. But I have seen to be benefited more by mondeslor rather  than that of inhaler. I have constant feeling of mucus in throat, and after eating food it worsens more. I am continuing mondeslor and doxolin tablets everyday . Is it ok to continue these two medicines long term? And I need further more guidence regarding this. Also I am thinking of moving to alternative treaments because of this.
