It would be extremely rare for a 22 year old young woman to have lung cancer. However you need to have your lungs examined and X-rayed because it is not normal for a 22 year old to raise phlegm, especially if you don't smoke cigarettes and very unusual for you to have black specs in the phlegm, unless your occupation forces you to breathe air containing black dust or black particles of any kind.
1-800-QUITNOW can offer you free support and resources to help you quit smoking. It really is the best thing you can do for your immediate and future health. Your docs can also help.

thank you for the support, i do occasionally smoke hookah tobacco and know its bad for me, i will try my best to quit. thank you.
Lung cancer in someone as young as you is extremely unlikely. The symptoms you describe do NOT sound like lung cancer. Have you mentioned your concerns and symptoms to your physician? What does s/he say?
By the way, if you are using tobacco in any form, quitting would be a very good thing & avoiding being around tobacco & other lung irritants would also be great for your lungs, body and health.
