Post Nasal Drip Causing Right Lung Congestion?

I am a 66 year old female. I smoke a few cigarettes a day. I have had this for about 5 weeks now. It started with sneezing and runny nose (along with sinus congestion that is almost always present even before this episode). The sneezing and runny nose are gone. I am so stuffed up that I cannot get much air through either nostril. This is an ongoing problem that was present when this began. Then I felt a funny tickling sensation in right lung (upper part of lung) which started congestion developing (with a bit of wheezing). I had a slight cough at first which went away but the  congestion is still there. I am not coughing so I have to push it out by deep throat clearing. The mucus coming from chest is a creamy pale green.  I also have constant mucus in my throat also of a creamy consistency but not as green and sometimes clear to whitish. I believe both of my lymph nodes in my neck are swollen and hurt. Ears are bothersome also. It hurts to touch my forehead around eyebrows and area around bridge of nose hurts also.  Sinus pressure headache present. If I barely press on my eyes they hurt. I am used to the severe sinus problems but this chest congestion won't go away. Why can't I cough? I have made my upper chest area hurt trying to hack the mucus up. I am seeing my PC on Friday 9/28/18 for my regular checkup but I am a super anxious person and thought maybe I could get an idea from someone about this. Is it post nasal drip? Is it actually coming from lung or somewhere else in upper respiratory system? It is only the right side. I cannot take decongestants because of a paroxymal arrythmia.

Note: A little wheezing present but not as much as in the beginning.

Thanking in advance for any response.
