Food stuck in bronchus - or not?

Sunday I choked on tiny bits of tuna fish that i swallowed properly - but inhaled them back up inside the trachea.
I coughed and it got better, but we're now 2 days later and it still feels like there is some food stuck in there.

I have had an x-ray yesterday, but it did not detect any pneumonia.
But... bits of food an x-ray can not detect.

-Does food in the bronchi always cause pneumonia?
-If there is food in there and it hasn't caused pneumonia in the first 10 days or so,
could it still cause pneumonia sometime later on?

I feel a sharp stabbing feeling permanently present in my right lung,
the pain is very bearable but it doesn't feel healthy at all.
The feeling becomes more intense when inhaling deeply, doing exercise or having extended conversations with people.

---

Am i imagining something is still stuck in my bronchus
or could there really be something there?

Hi did you get to the bottom of this? I have a similar problem for 5 days now, I think I have inhaled a very small fish bone.

I had a bronchoscopy done and the doc didnt see any food,
but he didnt have a lot of time so he only inspected a small portion of the bronchi.

I'm not sure whether a "proper bronchoscopy" would mean that the pneumologist
looks inside every little branch of the bronchi?

It's been over two weeks now and i still feel that stabbing/nagging sharp pain like feeling.
If there would really be tuna in my bronchi, would I have developed pneumonia by now??
