lung nodule slight increase

i had several ct and pet scans for two years for lung nodules. the lung dr said good you don't have cancer no change. well, two years later i decided to get a chest xray to see if changes. well, they call this am, there is a slight increase but it looks benign. i have to refer again to pulmonologist. i am afraid. the pulm stated i didn't need to be evaluated any further after the two years. i decided myself to get chest xray. anyone go through this. thank you
