relaxed lungs?

My wifes orthopoedic surgeon injected botox into her right lung, by accident of course. By the time we realized what was happening they were rushing me out of the room and sticking a tube in my wifes lung to reinflate it. She had minutes to live with the pressure building on her heart and other lung. My question is, what damage would 20-60 cc's of botox do. Would it slow her breathing down to 4 breathes a minute?

Dave...I am so sorry that this happened to your wife. How is she doing? I do understand why she needed the chest tube, anytime the lung is nicked, it collapses and a pneumothorax occurs needing the tube to reinflate it. As far as what botox can do if accidentally directly injected into the lung, I don't know....I do know that botox if injected near a nerve can cause paralysis of the muscle in which the nerve feeds into. What do her doctors say about this?
