On July 14th I was running and overexercised. When I finished my fingernails were purple. Since then, they remained that way, although occasionally my right thumb and/or my left index would turn very blue. Is this raynauds?
I am not really sure what this could be. Sudden persistent discolouration is unlikely to be Raunaud’s if it does not revert back to normal after the trigger is reversed, though I would suggest getting evaluated fur cardiac/ vascular and haemotological conditions. I would suggest seeing an internist initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
Hope this helps.
