6 Red pimples on inner part(near throat) of tongue(top)

Hello I got 6 Red pimples on inner part(near throat) of tongue(top). I have been having sore throat for 10 days, but it is gone today (this is day 21 after exposure). I received unprotected oral sex and did anal penetration(protected if nothing went wrong with condom) on a ts sex worker.

Could this(pimples) be an std symptom? Is this hiv ars related?

Thank you.

Grace I just appreciate the fact you replied. I might need to see my doctor if this does not improve in next 2 days, because my right ear is blocking sometime due to some enlarged neck nodes.

Have a great night...

bumps on back of tongue are noromal. they can be more pronounced at times ( and also you can just be paying far too much attention to things too )

sore throat is more likely something non-std related. see your provider for a proper work up since it's been going on for so long.

So the bumps on the back of my tongue are still there(3 days since I've noticed them). Should I check them with my primary care or do you recommend I wait? The only thing i hate about primary care is I need to take a vacation day just for that.

Also this does not have anything to do with syphilis correct? The only reason I am asking is few weeks back I had a pimple on my inner thigh which kind of worried me after some prolonged contact with a stripper (like 30 minutes sitting on my thigh with me naked).

For the background, 10 days after an exposure(described above in same post- big mistake slept with ts worker) I had a sore throat that won't go away till day 20. Now is day 22. I realized 3 days back I got those 7 bumps on the back of my tongue.

Thank you again.

Thank you again.

my point was, in our read before posting post we ask that you keep all your questions in the same original post and not keep making a new one each time. it helps to keep the board organized as well as helps us help you the best.

you don't have to test for hiv from oral sex.

Last I knew, your throat was part of your mouth (oral) cavity.

I don't recall asking about my mouth, I asked about throat. Anyways it seems to be  circumvallate papillae. I would assume it could have happened because of the throat drops I was having to soothe my throat.
Let's see how long they last. Day 30 will do my first hiv test-> if negative, wait to week 6 and test again-> if negative big big relief then wait till 3 months but chance would be so slow.
Thanks for all the answers here guys. You have helped me make it through day 21 without a mental breakdown. I really appreciate everyone who has been trying to calm me down and I hope there answers turn out to be similar to test results. Specifically I would like to thank Teak and the lady from Australia(19 years old on profile) I can't remember her nick name but those 2 people I owe them much if the results are consistent with their answers (negative results hopefully)....

Peace...
