Am I still contagious?

I was diagnosed with syphilis but have completed treatment, I had a syphilitic ulcer but it has healed and is no longer open, I had sex with an old partner (not the one I contracted the disease from) with a condom, is my sore still contagious even though it is closed and I have been treated?

Was the sore completely healed, as in not scabbed, but gone? Was there any skin to skin contact with the area that has the sore (if it's not completely healed)?

If there was no skin to skin contact with a sore that hasn't completely healed, it should be fine.

Hi treatments are usually successful but a follow up test would be recommended just to make sure. Also if the ulcer was covered by the condom then it cant be passed anyway.
